Summary:

Team Trainers are team members who have demonstrated a desire to provide guests with an excellent experience as defined by the store leadership and Pathway.  Team trainers will train new and existing team members directly & indirectly by utilizing the tools provided by Chick-fil-A & Chick-fil-A River City Marketplace.  They model our core values in their daily work habits and decision making.  They effectively communicate and coach team members on the required responsibilities and provide team  members with the necessary tools and support to be confident and skilled in their position as we work together to ensure our guests have an excellent experience utilizing the Winning Hearts Every Day (WHED) strategy.  Team Trainers effectively communicate with leadership to confirm what is working and share opportunities for improvement.

 Responsibilities:

  • Willing and able to complete one’s own assigned Pathway training(s) and any other relevant assigned training(s) timely.  

  • Willing and able to effectively train and mentor team members according to training tools provided (such as Pathway, Winning Cards, and Chick-fil-A River City Marketplace policies) and to effectively & timely document said training.  

  • Willing and able to work in any operational position of the business based upon business needs.  Must perform one’s own daily activities in compliance with Chick-fil-A and Chick-fil-A River City requirements.

  • Willing and able to demonstrate competencies required to effectively satisfy the Trainer’s Vision and Purpose.  Competencies related to self, guest & team are listed below:

Experience & Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 90 days experience in a Team Member Role with demonstrated success.

  • Must have 3 day availability to include Friday, Saturday availability (*If Full Time, day coverage must have availability thru 4 p.m., Night coverage must have availability starting at 2 p.m.)

  • Must be fully trained in Front of House or Back of House operations

  • Capable and passionate about building relationships with guests and/or team members

  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Must be observant and detail-oriented

  • Must have Pathway training complete and be able to perform in accordance with Pathway guidance.

  • Must be able and willing to utilize communication tools provided (ex: Slack & Feedback forms)

  • Must be able and willing to commit to professional & individual learning and development

  • Attendance record must demonstrate Dependability (Less than 4 Attendance occurrences in the past 90 days)
